Epsom replaced many of its Mercedes Minis with the MPD version of the Pointer Dart, and was one of the first customers for the 'back to short' Darts in the new low floor layout. This one is seen at Morden Station and is from a batch of eleven, 456-466 (S456-466LGN). Note the London General Northern Counties bodied Volvo Olympian behind has an old Routemaster registration. |
The plain cream sides of the Epsom Buses livery lent itself easily to the application of advertisements, as with this treatment for Milner Carpets on one of the normal floor height Pointer Darts, seen here in Epsom. |
Dennis allowed other builder to body its MPD-length Dart. Amongst the first was W872VGT with Alexander ALX200 bodywork. Note the air-conditioning pod mounted on the front of the roof. The bus saw further service with Centrebus and Woods of Leicester reregistered HJZ9929.

Another view of W872VGT, now bound for Sutton.
