From a different era altogether! Grey-Green 448GYR is seen at Brighton Coach Park in the sixties. It was one of many Bedford VALs with Duple Vega Major coachwork and the then amazing number of 52 seats.

Parked alongside Black & White's Leyland Leopard/Duple Dominant, 104 (PDD104M), is Grey-Green's Orange Luxury Coaches similarly bodied Bedford VAM14 JUV545D. |

Orange Luxury Coaches was an active subsidiary of Grey-Green for many years and its livery may have been a contributor to the inspiration for the Grey-Green Buses livery. Indeed the original bus livery used Orange Luxury colours with white replacing the cream. |

This Duple bodied Leyland Tiger TRCTL11/3R, B873YYX, was new to Grey-Green. It is seen at the 1999 Showbus display in the service of Hertfordshire operator Bordacoach. Whilst Grey-Green bought many Plaxton coaches, it favoured Duple from time to time.
