This Citybus is by the Bull Ring, seen in Arriva colours and about to depart for Drayton Manor Park. It was originally London & Country 647 (G647BPH) and had only managed a stint with Bee Line of Stockport before arriving with Arriva Midlands North.
Volvo Citybus/East Lancs 698 (M698HPF) is seen in Leeds in April 2007 working for Arriva Yorkshire as their 515.
Also at work in Leeds was ex L&C AD9 (N809TPK) a rare East Lancs bodied Dennis Arrow.
In February 2007, this Volvo B6 was a recent transfer to Arriva the Shires' Wycombe depot. As its registration suggests, L516CPJ, originated with the southern area London & Country operation as their 516.
This Leyland National was new to Midland Red North as 477 (JOX477P) and later served as North Western Road Car 290. In 1989 it was bought bought by London & Country to become their LN77 then in 1994 it had the East Lancs Greenway conversion, emerging as 355 (JIL 2195). It was later transferred to Colchester and renumbered 3305 by Arriva Colchester. In 2001 it ended up in Aylesbury with Arriva the Shires and is seen in the County town in 2003, still with Colchester fleetnames. It was sold the following year to scrap dealers Hardwick of Carlton.
