London's initial Leyland Olympian fleet did not amount to much, however many of the new London privatised companies subsequently took delivery of Olympians in various styles, and class designations, many featuring the letter V for Volvo rather than L for Leyland.

L300 waits to set off from Heathrow Bus Station on the 140. It was one of the last buses delivered to LT, and used initially under the now defunct 'Riverside' unit, which was ultimately absorbed by London United. It is a full height Leyland bodied Olympian.

Nearing the end of its days with London United at Kingston is L305. Even the paintshop did not seem too fussed about it - unless the new dark grey usually employed at skirt level is an experiment on the top deck?
