Plaxton bodied Darts became popular in the Metrobus fleet, and this early Pointer bodied SLF, 307 (P307HDP), is seen at a wet North Weald in 1999. The bus was part of a batch of eight new to Limebourne as 2307.

At the 1999 Showbus Rally, Metrobus exhibited one of the first MPD Darts - 312 (T312SMV).

At Millennium Showbus another MPD Dart appeared - 346 (X346YGU).

At the 1999 Showbus Rally another Metrobus Dart with Alexander ALX200 bodywork headed the 'Dartline' display.

 Side by side at the 2001 Cobham Rally is Northern Counties bodied Olympian 824 (P824SGO) and dual door Marshall bodied Dennis Dart, 767 (M518VJO), recently transferred from fellow Go-Ahead fleet, Oxford where it was 518. The Dart was for Crawley operations recently taken on in the wake of Arriva retrenchment. |
