London Routemaster in Toronto
An unidentified Routemaster in downtown Toronto in July 2003.

More easily identified as RM113 is this Routemaster converted to open top. It is at the ferry terminal in Victoria, Vancouver Island, British Columbia in August 2004 awaiting passengers on arriving vessels.

One of a handful of British buses at the First European Bus Festival in Germany in April 2004 was former RM1919. The bus was converted to open top when it was painted in Harrods green and gold colours for use on their London tour, alongside their Neoplan Skyliner. Since export to Germany and repaint into this smart silver colour scheme, it has had some platform modifications, which have actually extended the bus' length. The bus is seen at the Speyer Technik Museum after being on dispaly in nearby Sinsheim town centre as part of the four day European event.

London Transport Routemaster in Buenos Aires
Flechabus is a big operator in Buenos Aires and has a number of stunning doubledecker coaches on long distance express work. I was equally stunned when this Routemaster came storming out of the city centre.

The Mistral logo is a mystery. A suitable exhaust trail follows the RM on the climb past the old docks area with the building on the right having a particular Canadian influence, but this is not a Toronto picture, it was taken in February 2006.
