Routemaster prototype RM1
Where better to start than with RM1 (SLT56), the first of the four prototypes built in 1954 - the body being built by London Transport with asssitance from Park Royal. It entered service on February 8th 1956 on Route 2 from Cricklewood depot. When originally built it was 27 feet long and had smaller destination blinds, and a radiator disguised with a large LT bullseye design. It is seen at the rather wet 1999 North Weald Rally.

Routemaster RM1
In May 2006 RM1 put in an appearance at the Slough Running Day and is here seen about to leave Slough's Brunel Bus Station for Windsor.

Routemaster RM3
RM3 (SLT58), originally ER3, is seen at Brighton on the occasion of the annual HCVS London to Brighton run in May 2007. As can be seen it has been restored to near original condition.

RMC4 (SLT59) made a welcome return to SHOWBUS in 2010.
