This Lynx in Stevenage is on layover from route SB1, one of the early London Country branded 'SuperBus' routes, originally operated by some of the first Leyland Nationals (dual door) and Metro-Scania Metropolitans in a striking yellow and blue livery. London Country XF types were also used on Stevenage SuperBus routes in blue and silver.

Harking back to the days of London Country is the Roe bodied Olympian of the LR class loading in Stevenage Bus Station, also on the SB1. The Stevenage town routes were the result of a lot of horse trading between Luton & District (The Shires) and Sovereign, since deregulation.
