More prevalent in the doubledeck fleet are large numbers of once NBC standard - ECW bodied
Olympians, of which this is an example in Newcastle City Centre.

Optare Sigma bodied Dennis Lances are quite a rare breed. Go-Ahead had a batch for their Northern
fleets and their southern subsidiary, Brighton & Hove, also operate some.

The mixed Northern fleet has further variety with a large batch of Wright Handybus bodied long Dennis
Darts which mingle with the Carlyle and Plaxton examples. The bus is followed by a Palatine II bodied
Olympian.

Plaxton Verde bodied Volvo B10Bs are another rare breed, but Go-Ahead has batches operating on Tyneside
as well as with its Oxford subsidiary. Indeed, when new, some were diverted to Oxford at the time of
delivery and entered service in the southern city bearing their northern registrations.
