It is seen in central Newcastle.

Leyland National 2s were rapidly disappearing from the Go-Ahead fleets when this photo was taken
in February 1999. Disappearing too was the green and grey Wear Buses identity!

This National 2 is lettered as a 'Wear Express'.

The Leyland Lynxes followed the National 2s from the fleet 2 years later.
