Highland Omnibus Albion Viking Alexander Y AV48
New to the Road Transport Industry Training Board, this Alexander bodied Albion Viking VK43AL 40 seat coach, VMP8G, has been restored in Highland livery as AV48 (VMP8G). The coach was seen at the Lathalmond Museum open weekend in August 2014, but is not thought to have ever operated for Highland.

First Provincial Leyland National 2
A long way from its original home as Highland Omnibuses N14, First Provincial's 416 (AST156W) is at the Southsea Rally in 2001 freshly painted in the nationwide new First livery for non-low floor buses. The bus has since been sold and scrapped.

On A Mission Leyland Olympian Alexander - Highland Omnibuses
Highland red paint is probably what can be see peaking through on the advert panels of former Alexander bodied Leyland Olympian J14 (B898UAS). The bus is seen leaving the Grange School Coach Park in Aylesbury in June 2009 working for the ill-fated On-A-Mission. Sadly their Mission failed, having scooped several contracts between Aylesbury Grammar Schools and Milton Keynes, the company deployed a motley collection of elderly deckers, some of which spontaneously combusted taking with them the reputation of On-A-Mission and that of Amey Transport, who were acting on behalf of the Council to procure the services. The livery is that of intermediate owner, Huntingdon & District but Highland poppy red can be seen unveiled where the adverts have been removed between decks.
