Seen in Dundee in summer 1977 is an Alexander Y-type bodied Ford R1114, NT174 (USO174S). Northern had several lightweight Fords in its fleet, both R1014 and the longer R1114 models

Believed to be in Forfar depot in summer 1977 are four seemingly identical Alexander Y-types, except three are Albion Vikings and the odd one out, an AEC Reliance. From left to right we have Viking NNV10 (DRG950C), NNV21 (GRG421E), AEC Reliance NAC243 (ARG14B) & Viking NNV36 (GRS336E)
