AO57HCD is seen later parked in the rally field alongside Helms new Enviro400.

Centrebus Volvo Citybus Northern Counties

Former London Buses VC27 (G127NGN) was an unusual purchase for the capital - a Northern Counties bodied underfloor engined Volvo decker. The bus is now in the hands of Centrebus, whose operating area now extends to close to Duxford. Alongside is another local bus, an ex Reading Olympian of Whippet Coaches.

RH Transport Services Scania N113 Alexander PS

Another ex London Bus is SA1 (F113OMJ), a Scania N113 with Alexander PS bodywork. It is now with Oxfordshire operator, RH Transport Services.

With a more tenuous London connection, Volvo B10M/Plaxton, M722KPD was new as Speedlink Airport Services V22 and still retains that fleetnumber with AVT (Alder Valley Travel). Speedlink was the London Country spin off with responsibility for the Heathrow-Gatwick link. Despits its name, Alder Valley Travel has no obvious link to the former NBC operation now subsumed into various parts of Arriva, First, Stagecoach and Reading Buses.
