 Returning to SHOWBUS is E930PBE, the Leyland Tiger/Alexander P new to Grimsby-Cleethorpes. This year it brought an all orange Mercedes, M883DDS as a late entrant.

A unique vehicle, an ECW bodied rear engined Tiger. The experimental bus was originally built as left hand drive, but converted to right at ECW. The bus eventually entered service with OK Motor Services in the North East, but is now in the care of TM Travel.

 An unexpected entry was this ex Stagecoach Busways Alexander Strider bodied Scania of Atbus, a newly emerged Surrey operator.

After 2008's superb VR display, Embling chose to show off some of their other vehicles this year. Seen leaving the evnt is Wright Handybus bodied Dennis Dart L422LET from Yorkshire Traction.
