Southern National Bristol SUL4A
Southern National 624 (338EDV) is a lightweight Bristol SUL4A with somewhat unattractive ECW bodywork. Southern and Western National were major operators of this relatively rare model and even had coach versions. This preserved example is seen at the Cardiff Centenary rally in 2002.

Southern National 613 (669COD) was one of a pair of Bristol SUS4As acquired in 1970 by Thames Valley, together with three similar machines from Bristol Omnibus. This is Thames Valley 197 on route to Cookham from Maidenhead Bus Station, but the main reason for the acquisition was to replace lightweight SC4LKs with a bus capable of getting over Marlow Bridge without it collapsing on the associated route to Marlow from Maidenhead.
