Western National Bristol SUL4A 275KTA
A rare Bristol SU with ECW coach style bodywork. Western National had a number of these narrow light weights for trundling over Dartmoor. SUL4A 425 (275KTA) is now preserved.

Western National SUL4A
The SUL4A was a rare phenomenon within the Bristol/ECW product range. Even more rare were coach versions of the lightweight combination. So to see two together many years after the type had been withdrawn from service is a treat indeed and this shot compares body styles between 402 (336EDV) of 1960 and 430 (280KTA) of 1962. Both are seen at SHOWBUS international 2002.

The pair were also seen together at SHOWBUS international 2001.

Yet another preserved SUL4A is 1224 (274KTA) seen at the 2006 Alton Rally in glorious sunshine.

Bristol SUL4A 430 is seen at Millennium Showbus in company with a contemporary Bristol MW6G of Midland General. The similarities in body style are fairly obvious.
