Evoking the 1950s is Midland Red 3301 (KHA301) which won the prize for the best Plaxton Heritage vehicle with its Duple coachwork at SHOWBUS 1999, where it is seen here. The chassis is a BMMO built C1.

Duple bodied C1 3301 (KHA301) was parked alongside S23 5901 (UHA901H) at Duxford in 2001.

Our photographer, Pete Brown, obviously thought this guy added to the shot!

In 2010 SHOWBUS helped to celebrate 40 years since Midland Red built their last bus with a road run from Trumpington and display in front of the American Air Museum. Sadly the bad weather on the day discouraged many from taking part in the road run. Seen arriving at Duxford's Imperial War Museum is the Duple bodied BMMO C1, 3301 (KHA301).

Another 2010 arrival, classic motorway coach, C5 4780 (780GHA).
