 A new Leyland National, 79 (VKU79S), was one of ten which followed the secondhand Panthers. The next singledeck deliveries were National 2 models two years, mixed later with deliveries of Dennis Falcons.

 Prior to delivery of its 37 Roe bodied Fleetlines (123-159), Chesterfield's first rear engined doubledeckers were two batches of Leyland PDR1A/1 Atlanteans. The first ten (105-114) were bodied by Northern Counties. This is 116 (PNU116K), a Roe bodied example from the second batch, 115-122.
