In 2013 it was one hundred years since United Counties predecessor, the Wellingborough Motor Omnibus Company was formed. So it fell to Stagecoach Midlands to celebrate the event as United Counties had ceased to exist. The company was an early acquisition of the Stagecoach empire, The company was split in two with the northern part passing to Stagecoach Midlands and the rest to Stagecoach East. The Alexander Dennis Enviro400 bodied Scania N230UD, 15453 (MX08GJE) has been painted in a modern take of the traditional Tilling Green livery and was displayed alongside ECW bodied Bristol RELL6G 311 (NBD311F) at SHOWBUS international's Stratford venue that year. Services in Corby were given a promotional "Corby Star" livery on a number of buses like this, East Lancs Omnidekka bodied Scania N94UD 15402 (KX04RCY), and some Optare Solos. The Scania is seen arriving at Donington Park for SHOWBUS international 2019.

The bus was one of many used on shuttle services to the Milton Keynes Stadium on the occasion of the 2015 World Cup Rugby match between Japan and Samoa. It is seen resting here with another of the batch at the Stadium waiting for the match to finish.

Two years earlier Stagecoach Midland's treasured Park Royal bodied AEC Routemaster RML2738 (SMK738F) is in the superb grounds of Woburn Abbey to attend SHOWBUS international 2015.
