As First moved away from a one size fits all corporate livery, it started to market services and networks individually. The century plus old 144 Birmingham to Worcester service was rebranded "Salt Road" reflecting the historic trade along the route. Seen at the Birmingham terminus in June 2018 is one of the Wright bodied Volvo B7RLE buses refurbished for the 144, 69453 (WX59BZG), new to First Bristol.

Leaving Worcester Bus Station for Bromsgrove in July 2021 is 69435 (WX59BYM) with the "facecoverings mandatory" strapline under the destination being a sign of the times. The bus has been christened Juno.
