This unusual Mercedes 811D was new to Crystals of Dartford for operation on R routes for London Transport in the Orpington area. Crystals actually built the body on N605JGP, and bodied a few minibuses for operators in the nineties. Heyfordian acquired the bus for a contract into Great Marlow School from the small villages around the town. It is seen resting in the Wycombe yard in June 2009. |
Optare Solo 2185NU was at Wycombe operating the contract usually worked by Mercedes N605JGP in October 2010. The Solo had recently been acquired from Reading Buses where it had been 118 (W118SRX). |
Heyfordian's bus operations expanded supported by a new livery and new vehicles. Optare Solo YJ59NNM is in both the new livery and one of those deliveries for the new tendered services won. The bus was one of a batch of five new 29 seat Solos acquired at the end of 2009 and is seen in Oxford in June 2010 on one of several route permutations linking the city with Oxford. |
