Pete's Travel was acquired by Go-Ahead in 2006 and merged with their newly acquired Diamond to form Go-West Midlands. This was not as successful as some of their oher ventures outside the North East and it was sold on to Rotala who now trade as Diamond. The fleet of Plaxton Pointer 2 bodied Dennis Darts found new owners during these changes, a batch going to the Dunn family Your Bus operation in the East Midlands. This March 2010 view of KU52RYH in Nottingham shows it now numbered 1003 and being followed by a Nottingham Scania through the city centre. |
