Bowers Coaches Leyland National
On display at SHOWBUS 2002 was former Trent Leyland Natonal 534 (FRA534V) then with Bowers Coaches. Bowers became part of Centrebus and ten years on their operations were merged in a joint company with Trent's Peak District depot to form High Peak, by which time 534 was long gone.

In 2009 Motts Travel acquired this former Trans Peak Volvo B10M with Alexander Q body for contract work. It might appear to be in their Yellow Bus division livery, but these were the colours it arrived in. It has subsequently been repainted in fleet white. The bus is seen at Westcott Venture Park being used on the shuttle service to the 2009 Race for Life at Waddesdon Manor. Behind are some of Motts' ex Shearings Leyland Tigers with the Alexander N body, both N and Q types were built at the Belfast plant.

A month later in June the bus, formerly Trent 55 (M455TC), is seen arriving at the Grange School in Aylesbury on a school contract run.

Redline Bristol RELH6L ECW
One of Trent's former touring coaches, 18 (PCH418L) seen at work for Armstrong's Redline operation, route 410, in Milton Keynes. Buckinghamshire County Council used to pay millions to United Counties to support the bus network in the developing city. A consortium of independent operators came together to hugely undercut the cost. Vested interests however ensured the bid was unsuccessful and only Armstrongs, one of the lead companies behind the bid, was offered route 410. They operated it with a smart fleet of ex Northern General Leyland Nationals in a mid blue livery with a red relief. Letr other vehicles like this RELH were deployed. The writing was on the wall though and the objective of saving the county ratepayers huge subsidy bills was achieved.
