 With question marks looming over the future organisation of the bus industry in Britain in 2016 unsurprisingly Delaine held off purchasing new buses in 2016, though a B5TL (162) did enter service at the end of the year. Nonetheless they displayed two doubledeckers at the first Donington SHOWBUS that year. Though the older bus, B9TL 150 (AD61DBL) was five years old it was presented as if it was new, alongside, nearer the camera, B5TL 159, from Woburn, was then a year old.

 Delaine felt confident enough to buy one B5TL in 2017, 163 (AD17DBL) which is seen on display at SHOWBUS international 2019 at the Hetfordshire County Showground.
