This former Alexander bodied Daimler Fleetline was 672 (WHL274J) strayed a little further than Kent. It had made its way Down Under to the renowned Australian Pacific Tours fleet (now APT) and is seen in 1989 on Melbourne city tour duties outside Flinders Street Station. It began its antipodean career in south west Australia with Loves of Albany, but also spent a spell working in Perth. |

Transferred from Yorkshire Traction to Alder Valley in NBC days was this Alexander T-type bodied Leyland Leopard 1165 (LHL250P). The Leopard was joined at Reading by LHL246P, both arrived in 1982. When new, the batch of seven Tracky vehicles was intended for West Riding. The bus seen here is leaving Aylesbury Bus Station bound for Milton Keynes on the long distance United Counties joint express X15 route from Reading. |
