Yorkshire Terrier established itself in the early days of deregulation in the Sheffield area with a fleet of Leyland Nationals acquired from various sources. Former East Kent NFN65M is seen in Sheffield before the Terrier fleet was acquired by the Yorkshire Traction Group. |

This newer Leyland National 2, 217 (EDT217V), was transferred from the YTC fleet after the takeover in 1995.

Nottingham's batch of 13 Volvo B6s did not last long in their fleet and what is probably former 505 (L505CAL) is seen in Sheffield in the hands of Yorkshire Terrier, with another Alexander Dash bodied B6 bringing up the rear. Terrier gathered up unwanted B6s from various sources but most had been disposed of before it was absorbed into Stagecoach Yorkshire.
