What was supposed to be a trial started in October 2014 is still going strong this week. Courtesy of Ed Goodridge we have a picture of the Bustech CDi doubledecker 1790 (SB73HB), still in service with Adelaide Metro contractor Torren Transit on the J1X airport link service. The bus was intended to be 217 in the Surfside Buslines fleet and would doubtless have been working the Surfers Paradise - Gold Coast Airport link service. The bus has recently gained the aboriginal design wrap which must surely detract from the top deck views for visitors newly arriving in teh city and climbing aboard the city's unique Bustech doubledecker. Southlink also operate a Gemilang bodied Scania decker on trial on commuter runs from the Adelaide Hills.
