welcome to the showbus picture of the week

Seen in Bournemouth Square just over a week ago is one of many 24 and 73 plate Alexander Dennis Enviro400MMC buses serving the town. The interior of these brand new buses is state of the art and represents a huge investment by Go-South Coast in the area since it took over the failed Bournemouth Yellow Buses operation. The new buses are primarily used on the X9 to Salisbury and the branded M1/M2 services to Poole, a flagship service of More on which Bournemouth used to compete. It does seem strange to visit Bournemouth and not see yellow buses, but the town is still well served by buses and most are quality machines compared to the Yellow Buses former fleet, only one ex London Wright bodied Volvo B7TL was seen working for More.
