This is Rockleigh Tours MCW Metroliner which the company has owned for some years. It was new to Eastern Scottish as XCMM193 (D193ESC), swiftly passing to Northumbria Motor Services as 193 (D683YTN) for National Express work ending its UK day with Barker of Roydon. In 2011 Rockleigh bought a unique wheelchair accessible, disabled access, fully seatbelted doubledeck coach bodied by Kiwi in New Zealand on a narrowed Alexander Dennis Enviro500 chassis. At the same time they bought parts from Kiwi to rebuild the Metroliner to the same standard as the Enviro. Visiting the depot on Tuesday, staff kindly pulled the bus out of the nose in line up, where it was parked next to the Enviro, so it could be photographed. Like the Enviro it now has wheelchair access through the centre door behind which is the nearside rearward ascending staircase.
