The quest for new Enviro buses continues. This week an example of Singapore's striking new twin staircase Enviro500MMC buses was seen in Choa Chu Kang on the 974. This one, SG6338A, belongs to Comfort Del Gro's SBS Transit but the new buses have been shared between the SGBus contractors and behind the camera is the local bus station where more examples with SMRT were working the 190 to the city. The 190 was shared with Gemilang bodied MAN deckers, Wright bodied Volvos, even a singledeck MAN/Gemilang was spotted so the Enviros were few and far betwee. The seemingly raised silver beading under the windows on both decks on the new SGBus lime green livery is actually an optical illusion, it is in face a strip of two tone vinyl tape. It looks particularly effective on Wright bodied doubledecks.
