Before the pandemic Big Bus operations expanded across the United States. The Alexander Dennis Enviro400, ADL179, is seen on the Los Angeles tour. The bus, seen in November 2019, had been acquired from rival City Sightseeing's operation in Washington DC two years earlier. It was not the bus used in the Prince Harry/James Corden interview this week, but a sister vehicle ADL180 acquired at the same time from the defunct New York Open Loop hop-on-hop-off operation.
