A dip into the 35mm archives this week for a picture of one of Halton Transport's rare East Lancs coach bodied Leyland Leopards, 8 (JFV294N), seen in their Widnes depot when fairly new. It probably spent a lot of time there. Seven years later, in 1982, the unique pair of coaches was back at East Lancs re-emerging with 53 seat bus bodies ad retaining their original fleet and regsitration numbers. As many are aware former municipal, Halton Transport went bankrupt in January this year.
