Regular contributor Paul McSherry has sent us pictures from around the world, but this week's example is from his native Northern Ireland. Many will recognise the lines of the tram-like Van Hool Exquicity, a number of which were deployed last month on Belfast's new BRT service, Glider. This surreal image looks like it could be a model diorama used at the inception stage of the project, but this is a picture of a real bus. the service may have settled down after its teething troubles and bunches of three Gliders may be less common place, but the project lacks priorities needed to make it a true BRT with reserved track, traffic light priorties and rigorous parking enforcement.
