Adelaide Pengelley H tram 372
Visiting Adelaide in late July 2005, the historic trams were out of use. The track was being upgraded prior to the arrival of new low floor Bombardier units the following year. The H class tram, 372, is seen at dusk outside the Glengowrie depot. The H class trams were built in 1929 locally by Pengelley & Co, though most were extensively refurbished in the seventies. There were thirty originally (351-380) and ten were further modernised and refurbished in the eighties (357, 358, 361, 364, 365, 368, 369, 371, 372 and 373). Initially five were retained, with further upgrades for use on the new line during summer weekends and for special occasions (351, 367, 370, 374 and 380), though 358, 374 and 380 have since been put in store.

Adelaide Glenelg tram 369
Car 369 found a new life with Bendigo Tramways Museum on their "Talking Tram" tours. Its high capacity makes it suitable for charter by larger groups.
