 Unique in the fleet in May 2024 was 8985 (8985MO) a Bustech VST bodied Volvo B8RLE new in 2019. It was allocated to Kiama and seen in the town headed on the 125 to Jamberoo, about fifteen minutes west of the picturesque coastal town.

 The bus was seen again earlier that day at Kiama Station headed on the 126 to Gerroa, a half hour journey south along the coast.

 Later in the day 8985 was back at Kiama Station on school bus 484 with Volgren Optimus bodied MAN 19.320 8526 (8526MO), a year older.

 The pair are viewed from the opposite direction revealing 8526 was also on school duties. Note that both Kiama buses have avoided TNSW insipid blue livery, unlike their counterparts at Wollongong.
