The next visit to the Queanbeyan depot was in December 2020 and changes included increased depot security, hence this outside shot, and a new fleet livery based on Deane's colour palette but applied with a modern twist to new acquisitions as well as vehicles new to Deane's. We can see here the rears of former 22 (6687MO), one of the last deliveries to Deane's a P&D bodied Volvo B7RLE and 7387 (7387MO) a Volgren Endura bodied Volvo B7R new three years later in 2015. Facing in the opposite direction is nineteen year old 4531 new as 94 (MO5469) and with a string of subsequent regos: DBL094, MO6590 and current 4531MO. Despite a CDC NSW logo next to the fleet number 4531 and the rest of the fleet, another rebranding was set to follow on January 23rd 2023 as CDC Canberra with the white, orange and blue CDC livery.

Arriving at the depot still in the old Deane's livery and bearing its old fleet number 97 as well as its Qcity number 4538 with matching rego 4538MO was this P&D bodied Mercedes OH1725. It had chewed through regos DBL097 and MO6582. The circle decal on the side is a driver recruitment ad.

In this panorama it can be seen how the fleet is morphing into one dominated by Volvo/Volgren combo. A number of B7R/Endura semicoaches can be seen and foremost a pair of B7RLE/Optimus, 8628MO and 8627MO. They are flanked by a pair of ex Deane's P&D bodied buses, twenty year old Hino RG230 4530 (4530MO) once 99 (MO9233, DBL099, MO6598) and eighteen year old Volvo B7R 4532 (4532MO) once 89 (MO4875, DBL089, MO6580). Literally beyond the edge of the depot is the state border, placing the depot just inside New South Wales with the fields beyond in the ACT.
