 On the right is a fairly conventional 1994 Custom bodied Mercedes OH1418, 90 (117KIO), still in the colours of its previous owner, Ulladulla Bus Lines in NSW. the bus on the left though is a lot more interesting. Bought new by Wide Bay in 1982, it is an International C1830 with Austral bus bodywork. Sadly 323 (257BRA) is no longer in the fleet. |
 Also seen at Hervey Bay depot on the same day was this plain white Custom bodied Hino RG197K of 1988. New to Seargent's Transport of Warnervale as their 22 (MO1088) the bus became 150 in the Busways fleet and passed through two more NSW operators before joining Wide Bay, though it is no longer with them. |
 This 37 seat NCBC bodied short Hino RK176K was on bus work in Hervey Bay Bus Station. The 1988 vehicle, 503 (996DTU), was new to local operator Kay Allen Tours, but is no longer in the fleet. |
 A pair of Isuzu LT1-11P motors at Hervey Bay depot, both with Custom bodies. The orange one, 84 (153HFF), joined the fleet with Bay Bus & Coach but was new to Wisely's Bus Services in Wingham in 1988. It is no longer with Wide Bay. The plain white motor, 77 (483KFG), dates from 1991 and came from Hayne's of Narrabri in NSW. |
