The first car, 3001, had this scheme in March 2012 for TAG Heuer, the Swiss watch manufacturer. A Combino tram had a similar scheme at the same time, but it depicted an image of racing driver Lewis Hamilton. Car 3001 is actually seen on the occasion of the Australian Grand Prix on a special shuttle service on the 96 tracks between the city and the race track in Albert Park.

The tram is seen again about to cross the Yarra on the usual 109 to Box Hill the following month.

To coincide with the 2012 Melbourne Grand Prix, Yarra Trams Combino 3530 took to the rails in this striking livery for watch maker Tag Heuer, complete with a graphic of racing champion Lewis Hamilton who took pole position and came third in the race. Car 3530 is seen crossing Chapel Street in Prahran.
