Bristol RE's were the workhorses of National Express and our model typifies the early livery. Fleet number 1438, operated by Lincolnshire Road Car was registered PFE 715K and our model shows it working route 106 to Scunthorpe.

The Royal Blue livery was well adapted to suit the RELH coach body as can be seen on this Southern National version. Registered OTA 630G, fleet number 1458 is working a Tour and while researching this model I was surprised to find that the fleet name used was red and not blue.

One of the most requested Routemaster's is the front entrance version as ordered by Northern General and RMF 2091 was one of this batch of 50. Registered RCN 691 this RMF is working route 57 to Sunderland and displays adverts for Nimmo's Beer and Shop at Binns.

A vehicle that also joined the Northern General fleet was the prototype RMF demonstrator, RMF 2145, registered 254 CLT. This vehicle differed from the other RMF's and had been used by London Transport on a BEA contract. Working route 25 to Newcastle this special model advertises this year EFE Showbus Rally.

With this model we see two Centenaries celebrated as both Plaxton's and J Fishwich & Sons have provided services to the public and transport services industry for 100 years. Registered F57 YCW this prototypical Plaxton Paramount in J Fishwick and Sons livery should have a special place in any model collection.
