Showbus
Exclusive First Editions are proud to sponsor Showbus 1999, Britain's biggest and best bus rally, which this year will be held on Sunday September 26, at Duxford. The Imperial War Museum's site at Duxford in Cambridgeshire is particularly suitable for the event, allowing plenty of hard standing and space to view the vehicles to the best effert. All this, and the many and varied attractions at the museum combined with our 10th Anniversary makes this a very special day out. To mark the event we would like to offer you the opportunity to purchase three special models available on the day
26601 Plaxton Paramount PREMIER TRAVEL The identity of the first model has been the source of a great deal of speculation. Providing - that you purchase any other Exclusive First Editions model from a trader on the day and gain a special discount voucher you can then obtain from our marquee the new Plaxton Paramount 3500 coach in Premier Travel Services livery at a special low price. The vehicle registered E904 UNW is named Marksman and carries a high level of detail and features smoked glazing with Plaxtons customising to the side and rear windows and anti glare masking on the front windscreen. This is the first release of a Plaxton Paramount and it will be in great demand, so be ready.
Showbus Western National DMS The second model is of our Daimler DMS as a single door version, in the popular livery of Western National. Unlike the standard release of this model, the Showbus version carries unique adverts promoting the 1999 rally. This attractive model is strictly limited and will be available from your usual retailers before and during the rally.
In addition to the above models, there will also be a special model made by Exclusive First Editions for Classic Bus magazine, this Leyland PD2 highbridge features fleet number 68 registered EX 6568 on route 7 to Pleasure Beach and carries adverts for Middletons Store and Dulux Paints. This will only be sold on the day from the Classic Bus marquee or direct from Classic Bus magazine.

We hope to see you all at Showbus 1999 visiting the Exclusive First Editions marquee. On show will be production tooling, model fleet display, special offers, a tombola of rare models and staff to answer any of your questions. Most importantly on display will be examples of the latest new models to be introduced into the range and visitors will be the first to see these new models and castings.
