Stratford-upon-Avon City Sightseeing operations were in the hands of Ensignbus when they had control of the local Stratford Blue operation. However when they closed their operations in the town the operation passed to Stagecoach together with the tour franchise. Stagecoach soon replaced the fleet of largely MCW Metrobuses, initially with Volvo Olympians from within the Stagecoach empire and converted to open top. Northern Counties bodied 16538 (P538EFL) was new to Viscount and is believed to be one of the Olympians originally intended for London service but diverted to Cambridgeshire when crew disputes threatened their use in the capital. The bus is seen in Stratford in June 2013.

Low floor buses have been reintroduced on to the Stratford tour since the departure of Ensign's Ayats bodied Volvos. Former London Dennis Trident 17417 (LX51FJE) is seen in September 2012 at the City Sightseeing central departure point on what remains of the original bus station from the days of the original Stratford Blue. Turning is tight and accommodation restricted to just a few buses, but one is usually on station to attract passing tourist trade.

The same bus is seen in June the following year coming in to town on the Birmingham Road.
