Caetano
Portuguese manutacturer, Salvador Caetano expanded into the British market in the seventies. There Optimo body on the Toyota Coaster chassis is a popular small coach. The factory built Coasters used globally elsewhere do not comply with European standards. Caetano briefly owned the Waterlooville site of UVG (once Wadham Stringer) and built some buses in the UK mainly on Dennis chassis. Their Levante model was sold exclusively to National Express in the UK for some years.
