Grand River Transit serves an area of South West Ontario covering Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge. When visited in July 2009 its fleet was made up of units mainly ordered by or acquired from the Kitchener and Cambridge Transit authorities when Grand River Transit was formed in 2000. The former had favoured New Flyer units and the latter NovaBus, though earlier both had purchased Orion and MCI units and before that GM New Look models.
