Imposing vehicles and an eye catching livery characterise the fleet of Weston-super-Mare based Baker Dolphin. They also operated a high profile Bristol to London express service alongside the more normal charter and tour activities of a coach operator. This Van Hool bodied doubledeck coach is seen in Victoria Coach Station in February 2000. It is based on a Volvo chassis, almost certainly a B10MT.

On charter at Heathrow Airport in August 2001, with the old Queens Building in the background is Van Hool Alizee bodied Volvo B10M 18 (NIL4981) which was new to Shearings as their 622 (E622UNE).

Seen at the then new Millennium Dome in July 2000 was similar 19 (315MWL) which had been new to Bakers Dolphin with registration N203DYB.

Possibly at Windsor Coach Park in 2007 is this Van Hool Astrobel bodied Volvo B12MT, 66 (EIG4966). Alongside is a new BMC 1100FE school bus, BX56XBR, with LMB Services in Golders Green, the bus went on to serve with Liskeard & District. The Van Hool, on the other hand, also joined a Cornish fleet: Roselyn of Par. |
