Seen in Windsor Coach Park back in the nineties is this typical B10M/Plaxton Premier of Excelsior Motorways of Bournemouth. Shortly after this picture was taken, the fleet was acquired by the Flights Travel Group of Birmingham in 1997 and, whilst retaining the Excelsior name, they adopted the similar livery of Flights.

Excelsior was taken over by Flights after Flights had sold to Flightlink services to National Express. These were still operated under the Flightlink colours and branding, which were the colours of the then Flights operation and had been adopted by Excelsior. Just to confuse things further, this Excelsior Plaxton Excalibur bodied Volvo B10M is operating under contract to Flightlink and bears Flightlink livery - which by then were the same colours as the rest of the Excelsior fleet! Unsurprisingly XEL4 is seen here Heathrow Airport Bus Station.

The small Flights logo can be seen on the front right hand side of this Plaxton B10M of Excelsior, 603 (A4XEL), in Heathrow's Central Coach Station in 2002.

Excelsior of Bournemouth were operating this Jonckheere Modulo bodied Volvo B12B on behalf of National Express in February 2005. Four years earlier Flights had sold Excelsior to Ken Robins, a local hotelier. The coach, 907 (FN03DYA) is operating from Heathrow to Bournemouth.
