Howick & Eastern Scania K280UB Kiwi 239
In common with many fleets, MAN products were foresaken around 2007 due to an engineering problem. Howick & Eastern switched to Scanias. Seven Kiwi bodied K280UB buses entered service in 2009 following three K270UB models in 2008. This is one of the seven heading for Britomart in March 2013, 239 (FBP27).

Howick & Eastern Volvo B7RLE Designline 205 & 207
Not exactly in original livery, but this pair of Designline bodied Volvo B7RLE buses were seen with others in the depot yard in on loan from Ritchies who had just acquired them from NZ Bus. They had been given H&E fleet numbers 205 (EAS149) and 207 (EAS123) having been allocated 1537 and 1532 by Ritchies and originally 1907 and 1902 with NZ Bus. It is thought that 207 was painted into AT Metro livery on return to Ritchiesand the rest of the twenty acquired no doubt following in due course.
