Seen in April 2008, MAN 10.160 of 1999 was in this special blue livery and branded "connector", a short lived exercise. The Designline bodied MAN, 109 (YN3107), was transferred to Rotorua based Reesby Buses in its later years as their 53.

 This 2003 MAN 12.223 boasts a much more stylish Designline body. Seen at Britomart in April 2005, with another similar bus is 146 (BPT454). |
 Another MAN 12.223 of 2003 was 136 (BPL302). It is seen on the 55X Express at Britomart in April 2008. The MAN was another to head to Roturua. |
 The bus was seen again during its last days in Auckland in November 2017 crossing Grafton Bridge.
