At the time of our visit to Dayton in July 2010 there were major road works in the city with several diversions in place. This meant the trolleybus fleet was unoperational as temporary overhead for the diversions necessary was too expensive an option. The fleet of ETI-Skoda trolleys like 9816 were thus laid up in the depot. As it was school holidays demand for buses was reduced accordingly and the trolleys could be spared.

The main batch of 54 trolleys date from 1998/99. Their condition is not the best as can be seen with 9817 here, alongside 9815.

Shunted out into the yard at the back of the depot were 9826 and 9820.

Alongside 9828 in the depot is 9846 and another trolley, plus paratransit Ford 9031.

Also shunted out into the yard was ETI 9848.
