From a batch of 281 Flxible Metro B buses delivered between 1988 and 1989 is 3206, descending the ramp from the Port Authority Terminal in New York in July 2008.

 Heading in the opposite direction on the same day is a Flxible Metro D, 1837, It is from a 1994 delivery of 266 such buses. NJ Transit has the third largest bus transit fleet in the country after Los Angeles and the biggest, next door, MTA New York. |

 One of the reasons the NJ Transit fleet is so big is that it operates state wide and as far as Philadelphia, where Metro B 3601 was seen a few days later approaching City Hall on Market Street. This bus, 3157, was one of a further 107 Flxibles delivered in 1989, following on from the batch of 281. |
