The First London Riverside Mercedes fleet was displaced to First Berkshire, already a Citaro operator with its fleet in the special livery for Heathrow services. Seen in High Wycombe in the snow in February 2010 is ES64005 (LT02NUB) operating the 74 service to Slough. Whilst some of its sister vehicles had received the blue livery for Heathrow routes, 64005 has retained London red for now.

Still in red in April 2011 ES64005 is seen joining the M40 at Beaconsfield. The 74 route had become the X74 and misses out Beaconsfield by going one junction along on the M40. This seems to have proved popular in competing with the Arriva 74 which still plods along the A40 and diverts around the town in Beaconsfield. Full London liveried Tridents were also used on the X74 at the time, giving the unusual site of London liveried buses on a motorway.

Basically still wearing its Capital Citybus livery adorned with a flag and green skirt, but more surprisingly still bearing the fleetnumber - 218 - from those days, this Volvo Olympian/Northern Counties is at work for First Berkshire on a special Windsor tour. The bus is seen at the foot of Windsor Castle opposite the riverside station on August 1st 2012.
